Utility-scale photovoltaic validation

Validation and yield simulation for 10–40 MW photovoltaic plants to support investment decisions across European and Southeast Asian sites.

10–40 MW plants
Clearer risk assessment for investment cases

The situation

Investment decisions on utility-scale photovoltaic plants required technical validation that investors and operators could trust: yield, risk, and techno-economic coherence.

The constraint

Data was uneven. Sites differed. A wrong yield assumption would not show up as a software bug; it would show up as capital misallocated for years.

What I decided

I treated validation as a product capability, not a consulting spreadsheet. Simulation boundaries, sensitivity cases, and what “acceptable risk” meant were named explicitly so the decision was auditable.

What shipped

Technical validation and yield simulations for plants in the 10–40 MW range, with techno-economic analysis attached to the engineering case.

What it produced

Investment cases with clearer risk assessment and optimized projected energy output scenarios, so decisions could be defended when assumptions were challenged.
