What I work on
- 01Industrial and energy systemsMechanical and energy engineering on assets that physically exist: photovoltaic plants from 10 to 40 MW, renewable energy communities, wind turbines, and factories where the energy bill is a process problem. Thermodynamics, yield simulation, measurement and verification, and the plant data that says whether the design survived the weather.
- 02Product, process, and marketsProduct and programme ownership, process architecture and simulation, and the investment cases and market-entry strategies that decide where a product goes next. Fintech, energy technology, and industrial operations, taken into South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and across Europe from Italy and Spain to Germany, the UK, Serbia, and the wider Balkans.
- 03The intelligence layerData science, software architecture, and full-stack delivery: system and API design, data models and pipelines, forecasting and decision support, and the interfaces that put the answer in front of whoever has to act on it. Built to be inherited, not admired.
These are usually three different companies and three different careers. In practice they arrive as one system: an energy community needs a forecast to size the asset, a settlement engine to distribute the value, and an architecture that holds when the regulation changes. I've built that system. Most of what I write is about the places where the three layers disagree with each other.
